Setting up IPTV on a MAG Box is quick and easy. Whether you’re using MAG 250, 254, 322, or another model, this guide will show you how to get started in just a few minutes. Follow the steps below to configure your Portal URL and enjoy seamless IPTV streaming on your MAG device.
What You’ll Need
A MAG Box device
Active IPTV subscription with Portal URL
Stable internet connection (50 Mbps+ recommended)
HDMI cable and remote control
How to Set Up IPTV on MAG Box
Follow this step-by-step guide to configure IPTV on your MAG device quickly and easily.
✅ Step 1: Access the Settings Menu
Once your MAG box has loaded the main portal screen:
Press the “SETUP” or “SET” button on your remote to open the settings menu.
✅ Step 2: Go to System Settings
Navigate to “System Settings”
Then select “Servers”
✅ Step 3: Open Portal Settings
Click on “Portals”
✅ Step 4: Enter Portal Information
In the portal configuration screen:
Portal 1 Name: Enter IPTV (or any custom name you prefer)
Portal 1 URL: Enter the portal URL provided that we sent you in email after subscribing.
📌 Important: Make sure you have sent your MAG Box MAC address (found on the back of the device) to your IPTV provider so they can activate your service.
✅ Step 5: Save and Configure Time Settings
Press “OK” to save your portal settings
Then go back and select the “General” section
In the NTP server field, enter:
pool.ntp.org (Worldwide)
or us.pool.ntp.org (For North America)
Press “OK” to save the changes
✅ Step 6: Restart the Portal
Press “EXIT” twice on your remote control
Choose “Restart Portal”
Once the box restarts, your IPTV service should load automatically and you’ll be ready to watch live TV, movies, and more.
